How we calculate fees

Every calculator runs on a structured fee schedule for that platform and country, built from the platform’s official pricing page. Each schedule lists the percentage fees, fixed fees, tiers, caps and minimums, and the options that change them (category, plan, payment method, international buyer and so on).

What’s included

• Per-sale fees: commissions, referral and final value fees, payment processing and fixed per-order fees. These are subtracted from what the buyer pays.
• Conditional fees such as international, currency-conversion or instant-transfer fees. They apply only when you switch on the matching option.
• Subscriptions such as monthly plans. They are shown separately and not deducted per sale.

What’s not included

Taxes collected on your behalf, shipping labels, fulfilment services (FBA, WFS), advertising, chargebacks and negotiated enterprise rates. Where a platform’s rates are negotiated per account (delivery apps, for example), the calculator is marked as an estimate.

Currencies

All results are in US dollars. For non-US schedules, amounts are converted to the local currency, the local fee rules (including thresholds and fixed fees) are applied, and the result is converted back. Rates used (2026-09-26): 1 GBP = $1.34, 1 EUR = $1.17, 1 CAD = $0.72, 1 AUD = $0.66.

Accuracy

19 of 67 fee schedules were checked against the official pricing page on the date shown on each calculator. The rest come from published rates and are flagged for review. Platforms change fees often, so always confirm on the official page (linked on every calculator) before making pricing decisions.
